We are currently searching for suitable lease sites for our automated ice-vending kiosks. Our patented kiosks are manufactured by Ice House America and are sold only through a handful of exclusively licensed distributors. With over 1100 operational kiosks nationally, our automated ice-vending kiosks have a successful 4-year track record.
The best location for our kiosk is away from a building, near street access either in the least used parking spaces or somewhere close to the right-of-way. The dimensions of the large kiosk are 24 feet long, 8 feet wide and 9 feet high. The total required space for the large kiosk is 200 square feet.
Once a kiosk is operational, consumers can choose a 16-pound bag of ice or 20 pounds of loose ice dropped directly into their cooler. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the large kiosk can produce up to 18,000 lbs. of ice in one day. If space is limited, the foot print of a small kiosk is only 100 square feet and produces up to 6500 lbs. of ice a day.
The kiosk is connected to water, wastewater, electricity and telephone. It is equipped with monitors that identify problems and call a repair technician if needed. Each kiosk maintains a $1MM general liability insurance policy. The landlord is named as additional insured and we carry property damage. The kiosks meet or exceed governmental requirements for health, safety and the environment.
Our model is simple; we generate revenue from selling ice. The lessor generates consistent lease revenue each and every month.
We own the equipment, pay for improvements, including the licenses and fees necessary to construct and operate each kiosk at each site. The kiosks are separately metered at our expense. A video clip is worth a thousand words. Click on the picture below to view video:
